Glitter Ball Candle
Make (or buy) a ball candle.
After your new ball candle has cooled, dip it in some melted wax or hot water. Either way will give an even layer of tacky wax all round the candle.
Quickly sprinkle glitter. Shake or tap from the bottom to shake off excess and loose glitter.
For a different natural earthy look, try using sand. If you use beach or river sand pick out all the debris and be sure to wash it thoroughly before use. Or use sand from a craft store or children's play sand.
Easy Glitter Candle Method
If the above sounds like a bit much, but you like the idea of trying to make a glitter candle, try the following instead. Buy a long candle and dip the top in hot water. Take it out, swiftly stand upright and sprinkle on the glitter. It will stick to the hot bit.
Making basic candles is not difficult, but getting perfect results takes time and practice. Never leave a lit candle unatended, below or close to other objects. Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
